A more daring and more exciting Lotto game was introduced on July 16, 2000, the Superlotto 6/49 game. The Superlotto was initially played once a week, every Sunday with Minimum Jackpot Prize of 8-Million Pesos at PhP10.00 per standard combination.
Due to the overwhelming response of the Filipino people, the game is now played thrice a week, every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Superlotto’s Minimum Jackpot Prize is Php16-Million. Each 6-number combination played in the Supperlotto costs Php20.00.

The SuperLotto 6/49 is a pari-mutuel game wherein the prize pool is divided equally among the winners if there are more than one jackpot prize winner. In the event that there is no winner for the jackpot, said jackpot prize shall be added to the computation of jackpot prize of the next scheduled draw.
Schedule of draw days are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, televised live over PTV4 at 9:00 p.m.
