The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues to uphold its mandate of delivering compassion and concrete assistance to Filipinos through its various social welfare programs.
As part of this ongoing commitment, PCSO Executive Assistant VI, Office of the General Manager Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla led the turnover of mobility aids for the second district of Capiz on March 30, 2026, held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
The donated mobility aids included wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, and canes, intended to provide essential mobility support to persons with disability (PWDs), senior citizens, and indigent residents of the district. These assistive devices are expected to ease daily challenges and improve the overall quality of life of beneficiaries.
The donation was warmly received by Mark Anthony Grejaldo, Political Affairs Officer III, on behalf of Capiz 2nd District Rep. Jane Tan Castro, who expressed sincere gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support.
According to Grejaldo, the mobility aids will be promptly distributed to qualified beneficiaries in the province’s second district to ensure that those in need directly benefit from the assistance.
PCSO emphasized that the activity forms part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which seeks to deliver humane, inclusive, and compassionate services to various sectors of society, particularly the most vulnerable.
Through initiatives such as this, PCSO continues to strengthen its partnership with local government units and other key stakeholders, ensuring that assistance reaches communities nationwide. The agency remains steadfast in its mission to serve and promote the welfare and dignity of every Filipino.
