Mandaluyong City – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, turned over mobility aids, medical devices, and rescue equipment to beneficiaries from Dingalan, Aurora and Barangay Tigbe, Norzagaray, Bulacan on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The turnover was led by PCSO representative Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla and attended by officials from the beneficiary local government units. The Municipality of Dingalan, Aurora was represented by Municipal Administrator Shiela Taay, while Barangay Tigbe, Norzagaray, Bulacan was represented by Barangay Chairperson Jose Sia Gravador, Jr., who personally received the assistance on behalf of their respective communities.

For Dingalan, Aurora, PCSO provided rescue and medical equipment consisting of 20 handheld radios, 20 rescue helmets, 20 life jackets, 10 oxygen tanks with regulators, 10 heavy duty searchlights, 10 rescue ropes, 10 stretchers, 20 blood pressure apparatus, 20 nebulizers, 20 glucometers, 20 thermal scanners, 20 pulse oximeters, and 20 weighing scales. The items are intended to support the municipality’s disaster preparedness and emergency response efforts, particularly as a coastal community exposed to severe weather conditions and other hazards.

Meanwhile, Barangay Tigbe received mobility aids consisting of 20 wheelchairs, 15 walkers, 20 crutches, and 20 canes for residents needing physical support and assistance in mobility. The donated items are expected to help improve accessibility and daily living conditions for beneficiaries, especially persons with mobility limitations.

Representatives from both beneficiary areas expressed their gratitude to the PCSO Board of Directors and General Manager Melquiades Robles for the assistance extended to their communities. They also assured that the donated items would be properly utilized and maintained for the benefit of their constituents.

The turnover forms part of PCSO’s continuing efforts to support communities through responsive CSR initiatives that strengthen disaster readiness, improve access to basic health resources, and assist vulnerable sectors.
