The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has granted financial assistance amounting to 748,000.00 to KKOTTONGNAE Philippines Incorporated, an institutional partner of the agency, in support of its continuing care program for abandoned, neglected, and homeless elderly residents in Parañaque City.

The assistance was formally received by KKOTTONGNAE Philippines Incorporated Executive Director Eun Young Yang from PCSO Assistant General Manager for the Gaming, Product Development, and Marketing Sector, Atty. Lyssa Grace Pagano, during a turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City on April 28, 2026.

The grant will support the organization’s project titled “Sustained Care and Support for Homeless, Neglected and Abandoned Elderly Residents of House of Somang,” which seeks to provide essential services such as food, shelter, healthcare, and medical support to approximately 40 elderly residents aged 60 to 100.

KKOTTONGNAE Philippines Incorporated serves as a shelter and sanctuary for abandoned and neglected elderly individuals in Metro Manila. Through its partnership with PCSO, the organization is able to strengthen its capacity to provide a safe, caring, and dignified environment for senior citizens who have no means of adequate support.

The assistance was provided under PCSO’s Institutional Partnership Program (IPP), which supports qualified partner organizations in implementing charitable, health-related, and social welfare initiatives for vulnerable sectors. Through this program, PCSO continues to work with institutional partners to extend meaningful assistance to communities and individuals most in need.
