The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through its Medicine Donation Program, formally turned over various medicines to three beneficiary institutions on June 23, 2026, at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.

The turnover ceremony was led by Dr. Clarissa Ferrer, Manager of the PCSO Medical Services Department, together with Ruby Octava, RN, alongside beneficiaries Ako Bakwit, Inc., Emilio G. Perez Memorial District Hospital, and Municipal Government of Makato, Aklan, as part of the agency’s continuing commitment to providing accessible healthcare assistance to communities in need.

Representatives who received the donations were Administrative Officer Analyn Santos of Ako Bakwit, Inc., Pharmacist Claude Louis Dela Cruz of Emilio G. Perez Memorial District Hospital, and Liga ng mga Barangay President Shirley Lagradante of the Municipality of Makato, Aklan.

The Medicine Donation Program aims to help expand access to essential medicines and ease the burden of patients requiring immediate medical support. Through this initiative, PCSO continues to strengthen its efforts to promote public health and improve the well-being of underserved Filipinos.

By partnering with institutions and organizations that serve local communities, PCSO remains steadfast in delivering healthcare programs that provide hope and contribute to a better quality of life for more Filipinos.
