MANDALUYONG CITY- A bettor from Rizal bagged the UltraLotto 6/58 jackpot prize worth 77 million pesos. He bet on the birth dates and ages of his wife and children, 07-10-09-13-21-19, which were the low-tier numbers drawn in the UltraLotto 6/58 on Sept. 19, 2023.
The lucky winner shared that he has been an active bettor in the PCSO Lotto games for 20 years, continuously praying to hit a jackpot. “Noong binisita ko ang FB Page ng PCSO, nakita ko na may jackpot winner at nagulat ako na iyong numero ng asawa’t anak ko ang lumabas. Di ako makapaniwala, hanggang ngayon di ako mapakali. Yung matagal ko nang hinihintay, ganito pala ang pakiramdam kapag nakamit mo na”, he said.
He plans to invest his winnings in building a business and his children's education. “Madaling maubos ang pera kung hindi ito gagamitin ng tama. ‘Yung pag-aaral ng mga anak ko yung magiging priority ko. Yun ang siguradong maipapamana ko sa kanila”, he further noted.
The PCSO upholds its commitment to privacy by maintaining the confidentiality of all claimant information. To avoid forfeiture, lottery winners must claim their winnings one year from the draw date. Otherwise, it will form part of the PCSO Charity Fund pursuant to Republic Act No. 1169.
They must also write their names, sign at the back of the winning ticket, and present two government-issued IDs to facilitate the claims process. Prizes exceeding 10,000 pesos are subject to 20% final tax in accordance with the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
