Cainta, Rizal – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has strengthened its commitment to public health through the turnover of various medical devices to Barangay San Andres, Cainta, Rizal on Wednesday, October 16, 2025.

Leading the turnover ceremony was PCSO Director Janet Mercado, who personally handed over the equipment to Dr. Annie Demata of the Cainta Rural Health Unit 1 and Barangay Secretary Jom Ramirez, representing Barangay San Andres.

The medical devices donated were glucometers, blood pressure apparatuses, nebulizers, thermal scanners, pulse oximeters, oxygen tanks with regulators, and weighing scales. These will be utilized by the PFCI Health Center in Barangay San Andres to enhance the delivery of essential healthcare services to residents.

The turnover forms part of the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to extend assistance to communities nationwide through health-oriented initiatives and charitable efforts.

Through programs like this, PCSO continues to uphold its mandate of helping Filipinos in need by supporting local health facilities and strengthening access to basic medical care in grassroots communities.
